Brisbane CO2 for 25 Jan 2023

Quite high values recorded on Wednesday.  In a later post we’ll discuss factors related to such variations.  To see an example of of well-established hybrid university/community CO2 monitoring network elsewhere – and there are not many – do visit the San Francisco Bay Area’s Beaco2n project run from UC Berkeley.  We’re growing the network – if you’d like to host or sponsor a sensorleave us a message.  As we add more sensor sites, comparisons across the urban area will become more robust and informative about Brisbane’s Carbon dioxide emissions.

An idiosyncratic feature of the Bellbird Park data is that on some days (as yesterday), there is an hour or more of elevated values from around noon (and an early morning peak).  There’s no immediately obvious explanation for this, but we will be looking at it more closely.
